What to do if you are bitten by a dog
- You must make a report to the police as soon as possible. They should give you a crime number, make sure you keep this. You’ll need it later.
- Get the names, addresses and phone numbers of all witnesses.
- If the attack happened during your work, for example as a window cleaner, or postman, you must let your employer know and you should fill in a report.
